Dr. Danielle Catalano, PT, DPT, CYT, ATP

Holistic Movement Expert | Educator | Innovator in Patient-Centered Rehab

Dr. Danielle Catalano is a licensed Physical Therapist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience spanning orthopedic, neurological, and performance-based care. A graduate of New York University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees, Danielle now serves as an adjunct professor, helping shape the next generation of PTs.

Her path into physical therapy was deeply personal — inspired by her father’s spinal cord injury — and has fueled a lifelong commitment to helping others regain function and improve their quality of life. Danielle blends her robust understanding of movement science with an integrative approach, drawing on certifications in Yoga, Pilates, Reiki, and adaptive technologies to deliver truly individualized care.

Whether working with patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or simply trying to return to the activities they love, Danielle emphasizes proper alignment, neuromuscular re-education, and mindful movement as the foundation of healing. Her expertise has been recognized internationally, having presented at global rehabilitation conferences to share her unique clinical insights.

A lifelong New Yorker, Danielle lives on the Lower East Side with her family. When she is not supporting clients through both in-person and virtual sessions, Danielle enjoys ghostwriting and is an avid gluten-free baker.
